Man, uploading artwork at 2:30 am is not my best idea, but I just couldn't stop myself from finishing this. I lost my little boy so I couldn't just leave this unfinished. This is in tribute to him.
For those who don't know me personally, I owned a gerbil named Noah whom I adopted from Petco. His old family gave him up cause he bit....as we were told. Anyway, after getting him at 3 months, he passed away October 20th at the age of 3 1/2 years. I never treated him like a pet, so it I decided to draw him in a more human form. Basically, this is how I see him if he were human. The hat was actually a big part of our relationship. Whenever I took him out, I would put the hat in his cage and he'd climb into it then wait for me to lift him out. That's when I would let him sit on my shoulder as I sat at the computer or walked around my room. (I changed the logo on the actual hat to his name) So, here's to my little boy, whom I gave a home for a good 3 years. I'll miss you bud. Wish I could have buried the hat with you, but I'll keep it close from now on. Oh yeah..he's supposed to look like he's in mist...to kind of show that even though he's gone, he's still in my heart always. And also..I'm gonna be using it as my deviantArt ID for a bit. I still feel so sorry about Noah. I really hope that things are going better now. I've never thought it's fair that animals have to have lives so drastically shorter than ours....
I hope Noah will live on in memories <3.
